Yvette Bredice is a Death Doula and Transitions Coach dedicated to helping individuals and families navigate life’s most profound transitions with compassion and presence. She believes every transition deserves to be met with dignity, informed choice, and wholehearted support.
After a near-death experience, Yvette came to understand that life and death are not separate events, but one continuous journey. This realization became the foundation of her work, guiding the way she supports people through the end-of-life journey, grief and loss in all its forms, and the many transitions life brings. Her compassionate, grounded presence helps others move through uncertainty with greater understanding, resilience, and connection.
As a Nervous System Regulation Coach trained in Organic Intelligence®, Yvette understands that our nervous system shapes how we experience change, loss, and healing. This perspective informs every aspect of her work, helping clients and families find greater regulation, perspective, and connection as they navigate life’s most profound moments.
Yvette completed her Death Doula training through the International End of Life Doula Association (INELDA) and the Care Doula School of Accompanying the Dying. She is also the founder of Tucson End of Life Doulas (TEOLD), a community dedicated to supporting local doulas and promoting compassionate, high-quality end-of-life care throughout Southern Arizona.
As the Bereavement Coordinator at Harmony Community Health Care, Yvette facilitates grief support groups, provides education, leads Death Cafés, and supports individuals and families before, during, and after the death of a loved one.
She also has specialized experience supporting individuals and families through VSED (Voluntarily Stopping Eating and Drinking), helping them feel informed, empowered, and compassionately supported throughout the process.
Yvette believes that while death is inevitable, fear and uncertainty do not have to define the experience. Through education, thoughtful planning, and compassionate guidance, she helps individuals and families understand their options, make decisions that reflect their values, and navigate life’s transitions with greater clarity, intention, and dignity. Her work is rooted in the belief that we often have more choices than we realize—and that preparation can create a more meaningful experience.

Voluntarily Stopping Eating and Drinking (VSED) is a legally recognized end-of-life option that some individuals choose to explore when it aligns with their personal values, goals, and medical circumstances. My role is not to influence this decision, but to provide compassionate education, thoughtful planning, and steady support for individuals and their loved ones.
Together, we create a personalized plan that addresses the practical, emotional, and logistical aspects of the VSED process. This may include education about what to expect, developing a day-to-day care plan, creating a comfort-focused schedule, coordinating the vigil, preparing loved ones for each stage of the process, and helping ensure everyone understands their roles. Throughout the experience, I provide a calm, supportive presence while helping families navigate the uncertainties that can arise.
My goal is to help individuals and families feel informed, prepared, and supported every step of the way, honoring each person's wishes with dignity, compassion, and respect.
